Kona Village, a Rosewood Resort Opens in Hawaii

Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort. Casegoods and seating designed by NICOLEHOLLIS and manufactured by C2C Designs.

Thatched buildings and shorefront hales imbue Big Island’s Kona Village with Hawaiian tradition – a welcome sign the resort is back for business after tsunami damage forced it to close in 2011.

NICOLEHOLLIS led the renovation of the Kahuwai Bay site, focusing on salvaging and re-using materials from the resort’s damaged buildings and developing an architectural language that feels very much at home on the island.

Guest room casegoods and seating designed by NICOLEHOLLIS and produced by C2C Designs.
